Collaboration Station, with our social movement Connecting for Good Cov, is back for 2022 and we are looking for people to join us!
Last year was quite a year for Collaboration Station with nine events held online – we wanted to keep people safe even when lockdowns ended – and 23 new ideas or existing community groups coming together to develop positive social change.
There were ‘wild Zoom icebreakers’, playlists and wonderful new people introduced to the monthly event and equally wonderful ideas for connection. From Geek Rooms to African culture, to parenting support and an inclusive walking group keeping each other motivated through pandemic restrictions.
Now we turn to 2022 with new events on the third Wednesday of each month scheduled for the next six months from January to June.
A platform for individuals, communities and organisations to come together to share ideas and spark collaborative action. Everyone is welcome to join – leaving their label or badge at the door to hunker down for a fun event with purpose.
We want to end isolation and marginalisation in Coventry and reform the system that allows it. And we want you to be there with us.
What do I do next?
Collaboration Station runs from 6pm to 7.30pm (see Agenda above) and we are not only looking for attendees but also people to host breakout spaces to develop their own community offer. Complete and submit this simple Google form to apply.
The events will be in person at a Coventry city centre venue or virtually if this is safer at that time. Doors open from 5.30pm in person or 5.50pm on Zoom. We’ll keep you updated on this.
We value lived experience as much as professional training and everything is open to discussion, evolution and development.
Choose your ‘table’, share your ideas and opinions and follow up anything that captures your interest! Click here to register for a free ticket in the month of your choice.
