Step Up, Speak Out, Shape Coventry!

Connecting for Good is growing and so is our Core Team!  

Coventry is full of people who care deeply about their communities. People who’ve lived through injustice. People who already show up for neighbours, speak up against discrimination, or quietly hold things together behind the scenes.

We’re inviting these people to join the Connecting for Good Core Team.

This isn’t about qualifications, it’s about lived experience.

It starts with a simple belief: everyday Coventry people, particularly those closest to the issues, should be at the heart of shaping their city. 

As part of the Core Team, you’ll:

 ✨ Bring your community’s hopes and concerns into city-wide conversations

 ✨ Connect with other grassroots leaders across Coventry

 ✨ Help plan actions and campaigns to make our city fairer

 ✨ Learn community organising, leadership and strategy

 ✨ Build real relationships with people in power

We’re especially keen to hear from people with lived experience of: poverty, racism, disability, migration, long-term health issues, caring responsibilities, housing insecurity or other forms of exclusion. 

This is about building collective power, shaping how change happens in Coventry and about local people taking the lead.
